This year’s junior rugby clubs’ March Past will be held on Saturday 21 March 2026 at Allianz Stadium before NSW Waratahs take on the Blues.
Important Info
Drop-off: 5:30pm SHARP at Driver Avenue (OUTSIDE Allianz Stadium, opposite SCG Gate A).
Collection: 7:10-7:20pm at north section INSIDE the stadium (near sections 20-23). Parents must collect their own child.
Wristbands: Our club chaperones (parent volunteers) will give your child a wristband at drop-off.
What to Remember
- Kids should wear their NEW 2026 Eagles jersey, this year’s or last year’s MJ Bale training shirt OR Eagles hoodie, Tahs shirt or white/blue shirt if you don’t have this year’s kit (let’s show our 2026 sponsors some love!)
- Please make sure your child uses the bathroom before drop-off.
- Can’t attend? Let us know by 5PM Saturday.

- This year, the teams march in REVERSE alphabetical order
Timeline
5:30 PM: Drop-off children at Driver Avenue to a club chaperone
5:45 PM: The whole group will be marshalled together towards Rugby AU building
6:15 PM: Waratahs Walk (near Rugby AU entrance)
6:45 PM: Teams enter (see walking route below)
7:10 PM – 7:20 PM: March ends and parents collect children at Northern end of the stadium
Tickets
If you are NOT a parent chaperone, you will need to buy your own ticket.

Points to note
- The meeting spot is on Driver Avenue directly outside the Members Gate for SCG – outside SCG Gate A
- SJRU caters for 1 chaperone per 5 players
- Players are to wear club colours
- Each Club will be provided a Banner (corflute) with their club name on it to march behind (these are collected at the end of the march)
Accreditation
All juniors and chaperones to be wrist-banded. SJRU will provide the wristbands on the night to club representative to distribute.
Walking Route
– On entering the FOP the march will walk along the southern astro turf, then the eastern and then the North to the opened LED gates in the northern stand
– The march will not at any point enter the Western sideline
– All participants must remain on the astro
– Clubs to march in REVERSE alphabetical order
– Parents can retrieve children from the Northern end as they leave the field – all the seating at that end is family friend General Admission seating.
